‘Titus’

Titus is a very special boy to me. He’s taken my love of dogs and Shelties to whole new level. I purchased him from Highledge Shelties in November of 2010, to be my companion. As it turned out, he matured so beautifully, that through the mentor ship from Highledge, I showed him to his Canadian Championship in just seven shows! That following summer, he completed his Grand Championship title with one Group 1st, two Group 2nd, two Group 3rd, two Group 4th AND Select Dog at Dominion Collie and Shetland Sheepdog Association Specialty. That year, 2013, he was ranked #9 Sheltie in Canada!! After dabbling in the conformation ring, we started training in obedience, rally and agility. And in May of 2014, he completed his Companion Dog (CD) title at the Canadian Shetland Sheepdog Association and got his first leg towards his Rally Novice title, completing that title by June, 2014. We have also been involved with the sport of dog agility - Titus LOVES it! He’s acquired a few titles in it as well. One trial day in particular, I’ll never forget. In July of 2015, the Hamilton Dog Obedience Club hosted an agility trial. We entered 6 runs and qualified in ALL six! Giving Titus two new titles on the end of his name - AgNJ (agility novice jumpers) and AgN (agility novice standard). Since then, he’s earned his AgI (agility intermediate jumpers) title.

Titus also enjoys hikes, be it along a beach or in a forest, he’s happy to just go anywhere! I just love how versatile this dog is, something I too strive for in my breeding program.
